Directed by Phil Austin & Derek W. Hayes, SKYWHALES is a 1983 animated short film that depicts a fictional society of green-skinned alien creatures dwelling in the atmosphere on a floating island, who send off hunting missions to capture skywhales. Skywhales was released at the cinema in the UK in 1984, showing before the film Nineteen Eighty-Four. Too bad that the quality of the video is so bad, as it doesn't do justice to the beauty of this film.
