Former Slave frontman Steve Arrington is working on an album produced entirely by Dam-Funk, to be released next year on Stones Throw. Steve Arrington left the music industry after a successful carrier in the 80's, but thanks to Dam, he'd returned not only to record but got back on tour performing old and new jams as well. This feels like a dream-come-true type of a collaboration --the two are clearly musical soulmates--, and from what I've heard of it, it is going to be a funk superhero project.
