WK Interact present a new portrait series entitled 12 Angry Men (above). The exhibition will feature the faces of twelve men using process solely created using a sponge and large brush. The show opens on Saturday June 27th at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery ( 529 West 20th Street, 9th floor, New York, NY 10011).
The other half of the gallery will host the solo exhibition opening of fellow Frenchman, INVADER, entitled "Top IO." Check out this new video created specifically for the upcoming the show. Time-lapse footage reveals the geometric complexity of the process in creating his trademark Rubickubism pieces featured in the show, and will be projected into the gallery space during the exhibition. The term Rubikcubism is used to describe an art movement of which Invader is believed to be the originator, using Rubik’s Cubes (a 3-D mechanical puzzle game popular in the 1980’s, a brainchild of my compatriot, Hungarian designer/architect Ernö Rubik.
