I just discovered this Melbourne-based band, Temper Trap while blog-surfing. Much like their fellow Aussie band the Empire of the Sun, or the new US groups MGMT and Passion Pit, these guys have been putting out some quality pop music. I'm not surprised that they have been compared to U2 or Coldplay, you can definitely hear their influences, but Temper Trap got their own sound locked down.
